Infant PlusInfant Nutrition & Breastfeeding Support
Free education and support to provide the best nutrition for infants through their first year.
- All services are free of charge, available in English, Spanish,
and Tagalog - 24/7 support for any aspect of infant feeding through the first year of life
- Infant scale and hospital-grade breast pump loans
- Home visits as needed for in‐person help with infant feeding
- The KINDNESS team includes a Dietitian/Lactation Consultant with 20+ years of experience in Kodiak, and compassionate Peer Counselors and volunteers
Woman, Infants, and Children (WIC)
Services:
- WIC provides assistance to eligible families to help purchase nutritious foods in the form of an EBT card.
- Growth and developmental monitoring, diet assessment, and
nutrition education services are available to all families. - High-risk nutrition counseling is available through a registered
dietitian. - Breastfeeding services and support are also integral components of WIC services.
- Eligibility determination is based on federal poverty guidelines, residency, and nutritional risk.
KANA Infant Learning Program
The Infant Learning Program provides early intervention services to families with children birth to 3 years old who are experiencing a developmental delay, disability, or at risk for a delay.

Dr. Arnold is a pediatric ophthalmologist with over 30 years of experience. He attended the University of Alaska‐ Fairbanks, medical school at Yale, and completed an ophthalmology residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He did one additional fellowship training year in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus at Indiana University. Dr. Arnold is and has been certified with the American Board of Ophthalmology since 1990.

Dr. Sedwick is board certified in otolaryngology and is an ear, nose, and throat (ENT) specialist as well as a cosmetic and reconstructive facial plastic surgeon. He earned his medical degree at the University of Utah in 1997 and completed his residency in otolaryngology and head and neck surgery in 2002 at the University of Miami as well as achieving a fellowship in facial plastic surgery at the University of Miami.

Providence Pediatric Therapies
